Hey Monica!
It's Mike from church by the way... So, am I glad I finally checked out your site!
I'm not hugely familiar with the realm of jazz, but I always have room for exception, Monica Ashoton is now one of them. Not just because your Monica (though an obvious given), but because I love your Music.
My favorite pieces though would have to be "Thanksgiving '01" and "Carribean Festival". I love those piano parts, trip-a-lets (?)... I'm helpless when it comes to my love for piano. Anyways, great job on your music, best of luck and phenomenal success on all of you and your band's endeavors, and may God bless you guys with more great music, aka. I hope to hear more music soon. I'll check out your myspace and youtube, but first since you re-inspired me to play piano again, I'm going to whip out the keyboard! :) Later!

Monica,
I didn't know you had a site until I saw it on your CD that your sister (Aunt Lucy) gave the family for Xmas. (I keep it in my room, mainly because it'd get lost anywhere else.) The site's awesome! I play the piano too, and I play whatever type of music I feel like playing that day! :)

It's a wonderful CD! Buy it, you won't regret it! I had to listen to it because A.) Monica has been my good friend since college and B.) I was designing the cover and inside foldout! But I totally love it even though jazz is not my favorite genre.

a minha querida irma :),

so sorry for the reply-delay! ...my computer was "in the shop" for about six days and i am only now reconnecting with the outside world!

please DO put me down for six CDs! this is all VERY exciting!!! ...maybe your VERY old sistah should attempt a DANCE to one of the pieces, for the next Dance Festival :). i'll see if i can get my courage up....
